So far we have shot and edited 1:25 worth of film, used music and are in the process of creating a logo to start the piece with.
We began by brainstorming idea's and bouncing thoughts off each other until we agreed on a storyline and a method of recording. The storyboard was a brief way of putting idea's down on paper and having some sort of guidelines to work with.
My strongest input into the work so far was the choice of music, music is important during the first few minutes of a film because it helps to create a sense of clarity between genre's and portrayal of a storyline. Most british films use british music to really drive home a current message and patriotic confidence amongst most of the characters in the performance. Mike Skinner and The Streets feature in many british films and therefore we saw it fit that they featured in ours.
